ocr chemistry A model 6.2 azo dye and diazonium ion

In module 6.2 there so many practise questions on azo dye and diazonium ion...
Is it something from another spec or is it in the OCR A spec?

I was looking at the spec and in revision guides but none of them mention it.... its not a one off thing either its on almost every paper in physics and maths tutor...

we were tested on it in our mocks as-well but my teacher dint say anything.

I thought I would learnt in it later, but we have only half of M6.3 left now so we've basically finished.

am I supposed to learn the mechanism and what it is?

Azos and diazonium were on the old spec. There are not on the current OCR A spec.

does that mean we don't have to learn it?

no you do not have to learn it as it will not be tested - it could come up as an application question in paper 3 but you are not expected to have prior knowledge of it
