When you divided through in part (i) you lost some solutions - also, the given range implies that they want the answer in radians... part 2 is fine, though.

I think you mean + or - 2 not 4
Why are the marks for Q1 so disproportionately awarded? 3 marks for each and part (i) takes so much longer than part (ii)...
