Reversed half cells

Just a quick question about E cell values given in a data book - does it matter if the half equations are reversed in the data book?

For example Cl2(aq) , 2Cl-(aq) | Pt = +1.36, however in the cell diagram this half cell is on the left hand side so do I then reverse the sign?

By convention the half-equations are written as reductions from left to right. This is why the values are described as standard reduction potentials.
