Mechanism question
Hello,
I was wondering if anyone could explain to me about the mechanism for acid anhydride esterification. Ideally could you explain from using a phenol as that is related to my investigation.
I am synthesising aspirin from salicylic acid using sulphuric acid as the catalyst.
I have used this website:

and it has the Fischer mechanism. Is this the same mechanism?
