What do you think will happen to grade boundaries?
Considering a lot of people disliked and struggled with paper 1, I think they will stay pretty much the same and this paper will even it out.

I agree. From my year group that is doing higher this is the consensus...

Bio paper 1 : Ok, but some weird questions
Chem paper 1 : amazing
Phys paper 1 : hard
Bio paper 2 : easy, not many hard questions
how did everyone find it???
Same, infact it was the same exact question on a past paper. I remembered the mark schrmr and applied the knowledge.

I acc smashed that carbon cycle question

For the 3 marker on antibiotic things

I said the antibiotic resistant ones will live longer and survive through herbicide attacks
outcompeting those who are not resistant who die
increasing yield of ab r

weren't they asking about herbicide resistance?

Basically we got 3/5 becuase we didn’t covert and we didn’t put it into standard form

Really?
My year group think
Bio 1: awful for combined higher. Teachers agree that it was the worst even out of triple.
Chem 1: eh, quite nice, but silly mistakes made
Physics 3: easy
Bio 2: half and half, easy questions but masked behind some things that will easily confuse people

For an effect of global warming I put loss of habitats reduce biodiversity in an ecosystem and glaciers melt resulting in sea levels rising

Sea level rise and loss of habitats and biodiversity
yeah lol. That’s what I meant oops but yeah i said all of that just for herbicide not antibiotic

Higher
I got 4.8 x10^3
Nah glucagon 100% insulin reduces glucose levels when too high this question was about when too low
Original post by sqrt of 5
it was insulin
Carbon cycle question, how many marks would I have got

Green plants take in carbon dioxide from photosynthesis. Green plants transpire and respire. These plants are eaten by microorganisms, transferring the carbon levels of the plant. These microorganisms aerobically respire, of which carbon dioxide is a product of. These microorganisms are then eaten by animals, who have all prior carbon transferred to them. They release more carbon dioxide when respiring. This releases the carbon back into the atmosphere, where the process repeats from green plants photosynthesising.
Me too!
