Opinion on the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD)

I'm a student from overseas. Planning to do an MBA from UWTSD online with a local tuition provider. I want to know whether this University and the MBA program is recognised and reputed in the UK. Also the merging of 3 Universities is unclear for me. Is it possible to explain me this as well please. What are the university ranking tables that are reliable?
I'm not sure where you will find reliable league tables for distance learning MBAs through a local provider, to be honest.

UWTSD is a long-standing institution with a good reputation, but where it stacks up against similar providers, I couldn't tell you.

Are the ranking of Guardian League table, Times, and the Complete University Guide for UK universities reliable?

Whatever we may say about the decisions made in drawing up those league tables, remember they are not there to help you think about postgraduate courses delivered remotely by third parties.

Think rather about how your education provider is considered in your country. What reputation does it have there? What reputation does a UWTSD degree have in your country.

Do you know anyone in your country who has done what you are considering? Ask them their opinion as to whether the MBA is a good deal.

It matters not a jot what the Guardian, the Times and the CUG have told us about campus based undergraduate degrees, does it?
University of Wales Trinity St Davids was formed by the merger of 3 very small universities several years ago and all 3 sites are sill open.

Lampeter campus is an old university mainly on theology and humanities. It is very much in the country miles from the nearest town. It is in a small town/large village.

Carmarthen was Trinity College and was primarily a teacher training centre and now has expertise in things like Fashion and Drama as well as teaching.

These 2 initially joined together and were then joined by Swansea Metropolitanuniversity. This was initially made up of Swansea Arts College, Swansea Teaching College and Swansea Technical College which specialised in Engineering and Business.

This part of UWTSD is based in a city called Swansea and is spread across the city. The school of art and media are based in the old art college. The business school in a building near the railway station and the Engineering and I think teaching schools are based in a new building about 1 mile out of the city centre overlooking a dock.
