So now we know A is chlorocyclohexane and we can see the rest of the synthesis to cyclohexene i.e. conversion to alcohol and then elimination to alkene. Your answer is not correct for the bottom half of the second sheet btw.
Part d) just requires you to apply the same reactions to 1,4-dichlorocyclohexane as were applied to chlorocyclohexane.
