Hi guys, I need help deducing the rate equation of this question. I managed to get the order number of Cl2 but I'm not sure how to get the order number of PCl3 as there's no 2 concentration for Cl2 that's the same so I can't go about making a comparison. Here's the question btw, thanks https://m.imgur.com/gallery/n5hNM

OK, so you have found the order wrt chlorine is 2.
Now you can look at experiments 1 and 3.
You will see that the concentration of chlorine doubles from 1 to 3 therefore you would expect the rate to multiply by 4.
So multiply the rate of 1 by 4 and then see the factor that relates it to the actual rate in expt. 3 must be due to the doubling of the other component.
