AS OCR Biological Molecules Syllabus Quiery

Do we need to know the following things?

* How bacteria causes food spoilage (Not on syllabus, on past exam questions)
* Why food spoils at high temperatures (Not on syllabus, on past exam questions)
* How enzymes are involved in each stage of the digestion process (Not on syllabus, on past exam questions)
* Types of catching methods for sampling (Not on syllabus, on past exam questions)
* Consequences of the four observations made by Darwin (On syllabus but i don't know what these are?)
* Conservation (We did an assignment on this but there is soooo much information. I have only seen 1 question or so on past exam questions but it is a big part of the syllabus do i have to plough through it? It contains stuff like seed banks, ex situ and in situ conservation, captive breeding, EIA, CITIES, Rio, nature reserves, ethical views on conserving plants etc, advantages of conserving plants & animals etc)

Thanks:smile:
