C.O.G of irregular plane???
i hope you can see the picture, i am completely thrown with this one. my previous answer was as follows but was wrong if someone can help me understand this would be much appreciated.
area 1 = 400mm2
area 2 = 400 mm2
area 3 = 300mm2
centre 1 = 5mm
centre 2 = 30mm
centre 3 = 55mm
(c1a1) + (c3a2) + (c3a3) / (a1 + a2 + a3) = 27.7272mm WRONG!!

You have worked out the distance from the top rather than the distance from the bottom?
