Stretches horizontally by a factor of 2
But still how does it affect the turning point?
Eg (x-3)^2-1 = 3,-1 TP
So 2(x-3)-1 = 3,-1 TP

How could 2[(x3)21]2[(x-3)^2-1] still have the turning point (3,-1) it doesn't even go through (3.-1)

Quick question

Only if the y coordinate of the TP is nonzero.
