im currently planning my individual investigation for my coursework and am investigating the effect of copper sulphate on catalase, as it acts as a non competitive inhibitor, but have no idea at what concentrations the copper sulphate begins to inhibit the catalase, anyone got any ideas?? thanks
Do some preliminary work. It always looks good at the start of the C/W. You should have been told to do some anyway! Take a standard concentration and make up your own different concentrations (1M, 0.5M etc) and then do the experiment you want using these. Analyse the results and refine the method and concentrations before you start the "Real thing".
