What is the difference between mol/dm3 and g/dm3?

They both show concentration but I am a little confused as to how they are different.

G/dm3 shows the mass per volume of solution.

Mol/dm3 shows the number of moles per volume of solution
grams, g, is the SI unit for mass. mol are the SI unit for amount of substance.

A concentration can be expressed as the mass of a substance per unit volume, which is g/dm3 or by number of moles per unit volume, mol/dm3 or M.

Do you know the difference between mass and amount of substance, and how mol/dm3 and g/dm3 are totally different things?
