My schools predictions are

* periodic table history, atomic model development
* calculating RAM from isotopic abundance
* group 1 reactions with water/oxygen & group 1 reactivity
* metallic properties
* simple covalent, properties of graphite, graphene, fullerenes, alloys, polymers
* balancing equations using moles
* strong and weak acids, electrolysis of binary compounds, aluminium extraction, cryolite etc
*bond energy calculations

Required practicals: electrolysis and energy changes
what came up last year?

expect daft Qs again
not even gonna revise
What practical has not come up yet

For quick revision use primrose kitten videos and revision monkey videos from youtube

play videos on either x1.5 or x1.75 speed depending on how fast you can pick up things and how much time you have left till the exam.
ArE u SuRe AbOuT tHaT?
AQA will probably ask something CoMpLeTeLy IrReLeVant at this point.

Yeah that’s true tbh, cause the biology exam was nothing like what my school predicted

guys i've been thinking about this paper and I found a correlation

every year for comb sci aqa release 1 of the 6 papers that is purely designed to screw us over.

the 2018 paper was chem paper 1, (look at the tsr thread for that and have a look at the paper on the aqa website).
this year, 2019, that paper was bio paper 1.

fair enough from aqa i guess. that was the 1 out of 6 papers to screw us over. and we've already done it.

the silver lining is though the rest should be relatively straightforward.
the one out of 6 papers designed to screw us we've already done, last year was chem paper 1, this year was bio paper 1.
I really hope this is right and that this will actually be designed for COMBINED this time instead of the triple students getting a easier bio paper to us....

What do you reckon required practical might be?

Night everyone, try to get some good sleep before the exam too :smile:) x
What is isotopic abundance and RAM? / I dont recall learning that or perhaps i just dont remember but im honestly clueless as to what that is :/

Hehe not necessarily it could be chem or phy depending on how difficult people found the question. Because I KNOW I’ll fail physics off the bat. For a student doing Higher for biology and foundation on chemistry and physics triple.
