Yes, they are 2 different medical schools that offer medicine in English as far as I know. I'm not sure what the differences are - best to research it yourself. I'm starting at Caucasus International University in October. I still wonder if I made the right decision as I was accepted to a few medical schools in Tbilisi - guess I'll have to wait and see.
Hello there, I hope you are well.

DId you apply by youtself or through an agency?

don't go there as the university is on the we may accept list or the grey list of GMC and never apply through any university especially the one that tries to push you to a specific university.

GMC grey list is not to be ignored if you want to practice medicine in the UK and even if you dont there is a reason why GMC puts universities on its lists.

Response of GMC:

Once you have done this as your qualification is on the 'may be acceptable' list we'll need you to contact us so we can assess your qualification against our criteria for an acceptable overseas qualification.

About another University on Grey list, the agency mentioned:

Alte university offers 2 programs - one is the MD program (6 years long), which is created by British specialists to meet up the UK's GMC requirements - this program IS recognised by the GMC. The other program is a graduate program (4 years long). It is created for students who wish to practice in the USA - that program IS NOT recognised by the GMC. That is the reason why Alte university is on the 'may be' list on the GMC's website.

Basically, all the universities listed under the column 'May be' on the GMC's website are universities that offer 4 years graduate programs and 6 years programs.

my suggestion is to avoid any uni that is on the grey list because GMC keep targeting these universities and might put the degree you are doing from the same university on the grey list as well
