Chemistry Specific Heat Capacity Question

Hi, could someone help me out with this question?
If 800.0 J of heat is absorbed by 120.0 g of water at 25.00 oC, what is the final temperature when thermal equilibrium is reached? The specific heat of water is 4.184 J/g oC.

The water needs to 4184 joule to heat 1000g of water one degree. So you could heat 500g by 2 Degrees. 100joule could heat 1000g by approx 1/42 of a degree.

This is a scaling problem like reformulating a recipe for a different number of people.

you should try and tell people what you have tried rather than just ask for the answer.

The fundamental formula E= mC delta t, I assume you know.
