How to calculate the total the total resistance in parallel

R1=5
r2=2

R1=5
r2=2

Formula is (R1 x R2)/(R1 +R2) = 10/7 ohms
From https://kitronik.co.uk/blogs/resources/how-to-calculate-resistors-in-series-and-parallel
I am not a physics student
Note there is a different formula for 3 or more resistors in parallel

For resistors in parallel the rule is

1/Requiv = 1/R1 + 1/R2 ...

So 1/(1/R1 + 1/R2)
