Re the DIY method, I once aqua-vacked 2 inches of warm water out of a student room in hall after the occupant "adjusted" the radiator to the point where the pipework cut loose
. The stuff we collected looked like very strong black tea with "bits" crossed with a well aged stout to provide a bit of foamy head and yeasty arroma. Nasty, not recommended before lunch. Pro tip, wear plenty of ppe if attempting this job in a student hall.Quick Reply
