How should I study organic chemistry?

I am in university studying biochemistry and we got to the point of organic chemistry lessons which are quite difficult to study in class. We have Klein organic chemistry books and etc. But the thing is I dont know how to tackle this discipline of chemistry. Any tips or ideas for how and where to start studying it, since we began our lessons with alkenes alkynes and aldehydes

I would always recommend Clayden, if you are already in uni then you should be able to just start working through, chapter by chapter, making sure to do the questions at the end of each chapter to ensure that you have understood the content. I'm sure that you could also access free notes/questions from chemistry courses - I am pretty sure that the Oxford first year notes are online
