Was just wondering how you get the answer D? Sorry if I seem a bit thick but I'm just baffled I've never come across a question like this before

Thank you!

Use Mass/Mr to find the moles for both RCOOH and RCOOR.

I believe its 0.005 moles for RCOOH, and 0.00667 moles for RCOOR. (dont have my calculator with me atm)

"RCOOH is obtained from RCOOR"
so the moles for RCOOH (output) is divided with the moles for RCOOR (input). Then you multiply this by 100 to give you the percentage yield.
