is it not a gas?? I dont think there is hydrogen bonding between gases..
Forgive me if im wrong been a while since ive done chemistry

why is there no hydrogen bonding between molecules of hydrogen bromide?

Consider the electronegativities of the atoms in the molecule. Hydrogen bonding only occurs between hydrogen atoms and nitrogen, oxygen and fluorine atoms due to the electronegativity differences between them. Bromine as an element is not electronegative enough for hydrogen bonding to occur.

yep hydrogen bonds only occur between an electron deficient hydrogen atom and highly electronegative atom such F,O or N.
