Year 12s: what will be the first way you research your future options? >>

AQA GCSE Geography B 17 June

Does anyone have the Jan '11 paper and mark scheme for the Unit 2: Hostile World of the AQA GCSE Geography Spec B. I only need section A which is about living with natural hazards.

Also if anybody actually sat the exam could you post a few of the questions.

The textbook contains mostly what you need to know and you need to know one case study per hazard. Mine are:

Earthquake - The Kashmir, Pakistan Earthquake October 2005
Volcanic Eruption - The Soufriere Hills, Montserrat Volcanic Eruption June 1997
Tropical Storm - Hurricane Katrine, New Orleans, USA August 2005
Wildfire - The California Wildfires of October 2007

yeah those are the case studys im learning, but dont you need to know an LEDC & a MEDC for each hazard ?

I'm not sure but I do know the differences in the effects of the hazards in LEDCs and MEDCs. So far in the available papers (specimen and June 2010) there hasn't been a question about that but thats why I want to see the Jan 2011 paper.
