B overall :unimpressed:

BIOL1 - 88/100

BIOL5 - 135/140
BIOL6X - 46/60

Total = 543 = A*

So chuffed, I had convinced myself i'd flopped on the EMPAs and would only end up with a B :biggrin:

anyone got the mark scheme. I got an e and i don't know how I even fukking got that. I thought i wond easily get 70/100 which was an A. but wtf is happended? please post the mark scheme coz i might send for a re-mark.

Hey guys. Is A 480 ums points?

Nah just checked, I missed an A in bio by 5 UMS!!!!! And in chemistry by 20 UMS!!! Couple of marks in both. Gutted, but still happy I got into manchester university for optom. And that's the whole point of a levels, to get into a uni.

I know how you feel, I got 126 in this and 95 in BIOL4 but lost the A* because of the ISA

Something like AS: 72, 126, 44 A2: 83, 119, 42 = A overall. I honestly don't know how, I thought i'd royally screwed up BIOL 2 and 5.

Why do people revise so much these days so that the boundaries go up :frown:

Completely failed BIOL5, got 92/140, C. Sent in for a priority re-mark.

So far, my UMS marks are:

BIOL1: 80/100, A
BIOL2: 126/140, A
BIO3X: 36/60, C
BIOL4: 80/100, A
BIOL5: 92/140, C
BIO6X: 46/60, B

= 460/600 UMS, B

Now to hope that BIOL5 and BIO6X go up considerably, preferably by at least 20 UMS combined :smile:

Has anyone noticed the Bio 6X grades have been pathetically low on an average? I was so sure after explaining all the answers thoroughly and also doing the statistical test correctly i would have at least got a high B. For the life of me i cannot think what i have done which scr**ed my EMPA up. :frown:
