Does any1 know how to calculate porosity using just mass. I just can't remember how my teacher told me how to do it. It was something like weight gained / original mass = percentage porosity
Please I'm desperate. Gotta know TONIGHT!!

It could be that formula, don't forget you have to times by 100 probably as well tho!

Have you tried searching on the internet? Does this help, it has all the calculations at the bottom: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porosity
