there's a thread for BIOL5 already.... http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2560398

I know one that was last used 3 WEEKS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!
Plus my thread has more resources which many candidates will benefit from.
Mine is the best out there atm.
If you can get that thread to merge into this one!

Thank you for your time.

I've sent a message to a bio mod, now we wait to see the outcome.

Can someone please help me with this chi squared test question? I have to calculate the expected number of sightings. The mark scheme says its 12,60,8. But I'm not sure how they've got that.

You'd expect the number of sightings of cheetah in each type of habitat to be proportional to the percentage cover of area of that habitat.

Total no. of sightings = 14 + 57 + 9 =80

The bush covers 10 percent of the area so you'd expect 10 percent of cheetah sightings to be in the bush. 10 percent of 80 is 8.

Likewise, 75 percent of 80 for the savannah is 60.
15 percent of 80 for the woodland is 12.

Hey everyone. I hope the revision is going well. Good luck for exams in June.

I was just wondering if anyone had any predictions for what the essay will be?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks =)
How is everyone preparing for the essay? Just doing past questions?
