C2 Logarithms - Change of Base
Hey,
I am currently doing A level maths on edexcel exam board.
I understand the change of base formula and that we need it in case of a logarithmic equation and we want the bases to be the same for every term. However, going through all the past exams I cannot find a question where the formula is needed. Am I missing something?

I think there's no questions because your calculator changes the bases automatically for you.
On old calculators, you couldnt do e.g. log to the base 2 of 10, you would have to do it in base 10 by using the formula.
Basically, you don't really need to worry about it.
