Charge densities

Why the smaller the ion, the greater the attraction?
I know charge density is greater but why is attraction between ions stronger?
Vague question but I believe you have already answered it, because the charge densities are greater.

Lower radius means lower distance between charges.

F=keq1×q2r2F=k_e \frac {q_1\times q_2}{r^2}
