Choices and Intercollegiate Halls

Hello,

I am currently planning on firming UCL and having KCL as my insurance choice. However, the accommodation situation does worry me a bit as I am an EU student and wouldn't like to find myself in a situation where I need to find private accommodation.
Therefore, I was wondering if missing my UCL offer but meeting my KCL one meant that I would still be able to attend the Intercollegiate halls I would have applied to as a 'UCL candidate'? I'm sorry if this isn't perfectly clear... basically it was my understanding that when filling out the form for UCL halls, we are asked to write down which intercollegiate halls we prefer. If I miss my UCL offer, can I still go to these intercollegiate halls as a King's student or do I need to go through the KCL accommodation process?
