iQ nottingham 2015/16?

Hi I was just wondering if anyone knew much about the IQ site in Nottingham? From what I've seen it looks really nice and for such a cheap price (compared to a lot of other accommodation I've seen) I'm wondering if there are any fallbacks to the site that I don't know about?

I'm hoping to book in for my accommodation within the next week or so but I just want to make sure that IQ is a nice place to live before I do since this'll be my first time living away from home (I'll be a first year in September!). Also, how many freshers are there usually? From the booking system I've seen that there's a lot of 2nd/3rd years and a handful of 1st but I'm not sure how representative that is. Or, if not, is it easy to find common ground with people who might've already made their friends? What are the opportunities like for socialisation at IQ?

Also, just wondering, but are there any other first years on here already booked in to IQ? :smile:

Hi there!

I accepted my conditional offer for NTU last week and I'm thinking about staying at IQ as well!
I have to admit that I fell inlove with the double duplex, haha. Or at least the pictures on their internet site.
But honestly I'm not sure about the room yet. Unfortunately I don't live near Nottingham so I won't have a chance to view the accommodation. Have you seen it in person? Are they really that nice?

However, I have the same concerns as you. I'm really wondering how many freshers are going to be there..
Are you thinking about other accommodations as well? :smile:

Heyy..I have just booked IQ today and picked a flat with first years for the ensuit type1 standard on CO2. I would recommend booking asap because when I looked last night the flat was empty and by this morning there were already 3 booked
