Hess cycle
Which year is it? I don't remember doing it although I've done all available years

Edit: samb uploaded his cycle quite recently so go back a few page

Tell me exact definition of mean bond enthalpy and bond enthalpy
I can do all the calculations and multiple choice but if I get asked written question on it im like uh....one mole of bonds broken in gaseous states to form gaseous atoms...ish?

When answering enthalpy definition questions start "The enthalpy change that takes place when..."
For bonds it'd be the enthalpy change that takes place when one mole of a given bond of a gaseous species is broken (to form one mole of gaseous atoms)
Just noticed my textbook specifies that the bond breaking should be homolytic fission

I know every other enthalpy definition like my name but bond enthalpy was a dodgy one

Ha nice info there, we've never opened the book LOL
