I didn't say that it was worse, although if you want my personal opinion yes it is, depending upon the brutality of the rape, yes it is much worse than murder, much, much worse.

Can you not delineate between fiction and reality? What does brutal rape depictions in fiction have to do with normalising it's acceptability in real life? When images of such are used, it is to invoke a feeling of dread and empathy, not an enjoyment. When it comes to BDSM and rape porn, etc. it is mostly the female demographic who get off on that, because they like being overpowered in general.

I'd like some clear examples of what "normalising" rape in fiction means in real life. Does rape become more acceptable as a result? I have not noticed.
