Any advice/opinions?

Hey guys,my name is Vlad and I am interested in studying Criminology and/or Psychology at Canterbury Christ Church Uni next year  I am so confused about the life in Great Britain that i dont know what to begin with.
1.What are the prices per month for Food+Accomodation.
2.Do i need to bring a lot of things from home?Pillows,Kitchen stuff(considering i dont wanna buy them from there)
3.Is Canterbury an entertaining place?
4.Are there many part-time jobs or do I have to pray that someone doesnt want to work anymore to get one?
5. What is the average price for the books for one year?
6.Where do i need to go for the scholarship loan?
7.Any aditional costs, since my parents are making a big deal out of the thing that your representant may have not told me everything about the financial part?
8.Is Canterbury actually 2 hours away from Paris and Bruxelles as your representant told me?
That's everything that pops into my mind right now, thank you for any response and GL in your school year, I know i will need it !
Hi!
Lets see if we can help

1.We are an accommodation provider that has rooms starting from £110 per week, which is a pretty standard price. That includes all your bills and internet costs - the only thing you have to buy yourself is food (which you can budget for about £20 a week).
2. You do need to provide your own kitchen and bedroom stuff, but its super cheap to get (if you go to the right places)
3. Canterbury is amazing. Fact!
4. We have student wardens, so if you lived with us you could also work for us. The University and Student Union is a good place to get work from bar shifts to handing out flyers and showing new students around.
5. Dont worry about buying the books - get them from the Library then its FREE!
6. Email the University direct - they can help you with all this stuff
7. Its always good to have a little extra in your budget for socialising
8. Canterbury is pretty well connected to loads of places, not sure if its exactly 2 hours - but that sounds about right

Hope this helps! Why not check out our student accommodation?
