I'm listening to Blank Face LP by Schoolboy Q, it came out today. It's actually brilliant. Got a lot of good songs - Groovy Tony/Eddie Kane, Big Body, and Kno Ya Wrong to name a few.

There these new era of hip hop artists that I like rn,such as Kodak black, lil uzi vert, lil yachty and Yung lean, but no one gives them enough credit, especially from those who grew up in the golden era of Hip Hop.

All of the male stuff was garbage, although I did like the production on Kyoto.
The production on Cybiko was also cool, kinda Grimey.
The freestyle was ok, Little simz was good but Tink was better.

All pales in comparison to the golden era though.
Awful, just awful

Oh lol yeah I knew you will be like that, yeah they defiantly don't compare to the golden era of hip hop or past rap artists, but its the beats I focus on lol. Well at least Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole give me hope lol

Im dying 😂😂they are bad lyrically but the beats are dope,on the other hand,I feel like females now take rap/hip-hop more seriously, because they have to prove themselves more, that their just not a pretty face. For male rappers now they just do it for the money and fame rather than appreciating the art of hip-hop.

I guess I'm just not a huge fan of mainstream hip hop at the moment. It's too trappy and everyone sounds exactly the same, rapping about money and *****es.

No disrespect though, you like what you like.

Anybody listen to Anderson Paak?

Yeah Malibu is a pretty good album.

Smooth as **** joint.
How much of a part did Dre's production play in the success of Eminem? In percentage terms.

(E.g. 60% down to his beats, 40% down to Em as an MC)
