do you think it is another classic?
Will Drake ever beat me?

I don't think Jay Z has dropped any gems since Blueprint, but that's just me

Lol at Pusha T though, this ain't Meek Milly who you can body with popularity Push on another level to him.
unpopular opinion but I seriously seriously hate grime, its so uncreative and untalented. The lyrics are just stupid, its not about anything and to me not what hip hop stands for. I fricken love hip hop which is actually creative and interesting like NF.

4:44 went platinum in under a week...

You do realize it was because of the FREE giveaways, right?

Exact same way how ANTi went platinum in its opening week.

Those "sales" counted for certification purposes because they were purchased by a company. But they don't count for any charts as legit sales because they didn't suggest genuine interest from more than the 1 person in the company who decided to make that purchase.

It going platinum in a week is not the same case at all as Taylor Swift or Adele MBE or Britney Spears or Whitney Houston or Norah Jones or 50 Cent or Lady GaGa or *Nsync or Backstreet Boys or Eminem or Garth Brooks scanning more than a million copies in a week.

Not that it meant anything at all to begin with. Sales are not indicative of artistic merits. And while you may argue that it's all subjective and popularity among the general public is the only objective metrics, début weeks' sales don't say anything about that either.

Albums moved major units in their début frames because people liked the last album, and in few cases, because they really liked the lead single.

Was 25's record-breaking sales a representation of its superior quality? Or was it because people liked 21 a lot? Was Norah Jones's Feels Like Home her best work? Or did people buy it only because of Come Away With Me? Did Oops!...I Did It Again open with 1.3 million copies in the United States off the strength of the lead title track? Or did it have anything to do with ...Baby One More Time?

Even if you dont like grime, highly recomend listening to ocean wisdom, reletevely new, beat eminems rap god of quickest rap. But yeah tbh Hip hop aint been the same since the early 2000's and earlier.
he sounds like future but better
