F(x) functions

IMG_20151214_193158832.jpghow do you work out 6b, 6c, 7b,7c,8b and 8c?
6b, 6c Change the variables from the old letter to the new, Then solve like normal, For instance, k(k+4) = 0
7b. Take off four from the original function, what do you get?
7c, 8b Replace every x in the original function to the thing in the bracket
8c. Replace the g(x) with the original function, you should be able to see what to do from there

Set the result of the function equal to the function's definition:
e.g. f(x) = x + 4
So to find all values where
f(g) = 3

You'd solve:

3 = g + 4
