Find Measure of a Non-Negative Measurable Function

Please refer to the question and my work in the image found at: drive[DOT]google.com/file/d/1-rDCuYfuM8eqC5TwI7jegK9QpncAFf6l/view?usp=drivesdk

I would appreciate your feedback on my work
1. The assumption better be that integral of f < infty rather than <=.

A.
1. E is (obviously) a set, not a function
2. "infty = f(x)", what is x, where is it from?
3. The indicator function is a function, it needs a variable
4. How are you integrating "infty * indicator function" ?
5. Even assuming that we are allowed to use the hand-waving notation like 1/infty and we legitimately got to this point, why is that 1/infty * integral f du = 0? What if integral f du = infty (see 1).

B.
1. What does it mean "Let c = f(x) be arbitrary"? Is x arbitrary, where from is x? What if "f(x) = infty"?
2. You have an expression 1/c, what if c = 0? What does the notation "|c=infty" mean?
