Why would a Muslim want to fight for the British Army lol. That makes no sense the British Army is not Islamic they are not fighting to help Islam or Muslims and also many of these soldiers are war criminals.

And why would a muslim fight for the british army, when they let your funky arse in the country, give you a place to live, and at a discount price, give you education, pay for your health and all! inerstingly, millions of muslims (amoung many others ) fought successfully to save britain in two world wars 80 years ago and beyond.

the problem is with the current generations attitude in islamic world ( uk included ) is far different to their great great grand fathers - current the trend is politicised ultra islamic 'identity'. so that many young muslims living here care far more for the conflicts in palestine, kashmir, iraq etc than those of their homeland.

it might seem idiotic to you- but dont forget , the British ( Churchill and co) were the ones to stir up arab and therefore islamic 'nationalism' & polticial identity and lay seed for islamic fundamentalism, and the thatcher and blair eras turned a blind eye to it globally
