I'm really not a big fan of cheese either - I don't understand the obsession. It makes going out to eat much more difficult as well - nearly everything on a menu has cheese in it. Pizzas are the worst.
Anyway, re the perfect sandwich, I have to go with a bacon sandwich. I don't think anything can beat that.
I'm trying to be healthy now though so have to cut down on the bacon.
I've recently had a preference for smoked salmon - smoked salmon, cucumber and cream cheese is a nice combination. I must admit I've been trying to be a bit more creative with my packed lunches and get out of the sandwich habit. It becomes a bit repetitive after a while.
Im going to be a rebel and say marmite crumpet

The ultimate bagel must be hash brown, sausages, brie with brown sauce and pepper!
I'm going through an avacado, mozarella and tomatoe bagel phase. love it.
