Hi all, just a quick question I'm stuck on:
A television aerial is pointed towards a transmitter while being rotated through 90 degrees. Reception is found to fall from a maximum to zero. What two things can you deduce about "television waves" from this observation?

They are polarised - and in a plane. (You can get circularly polarised waves for example)
