Chemistry unit 1 and 3 was not that tough,i hope they don't put all hard once in unit 2 and unit 2 grade boundary always stays high
Reply 85
For question 9 you need to know the defination of each clearly. (Electron affinity or lattice energy not needed for unit 2)
Atomisation-standard to 1 mol of gas
Formation-element to compound (all standard condition)
roha i kinda still dont understand what the specimen paper has made mistake on
and is the answer right on the mark scheme?
if not can u show me the step by step answer

why is everyone studying for unit 2 when we have unit 3 tomorrow?
i guess y'all nailed paper 3
or do we also have this diversity index there?
i still didnt do this paper, left it for the end.
how did they find 11?

i still didnt understand where 11 times 10 comes from

Sample mistook 'N' as number of different specise.
It will be total number of organism in all specise.
Reply 89
11 and 10 is wrong.
But it comes from number of specise. There are 11 specise-coontail,tape grass, common waterweed...European frogbit and flowering rush.

I have no idea what they are ganna do with this new exam style.
In unit 1 none of those common memorisable questions came so i am really sceptical. Ganna go through all new topics just like i did with unit 1.
Epigenetics are so new and they will give it for sure.

Nope.
Even cambridge doesn't have those.
Epigenetics is a very new topic even to the world
lmao thats bad thn...

oof good luck guys. After chemistry my hopes are low
what is morula and blastocyte
Reply 97
After fertilisation, zygote forms then this multiply by mitotic cell division. After forming 10-30 cells they are called morula.Morula only contains totipotent cells (can give rise to all cells).
After some more cell division a ball of cells form,Blastocyst. Blastocyst contain outer layer of totipotent cells (which will form placenta) and inner layer of differentiated cells called Pluripotent(can give rise to most cells and form human body but not placenta)

Good luck for bio 2
