I got the same, no one else seems to have read the question properly where it says moles of COPPER and not COPPER SULFATE
I said boiling point, if the boiling point of the sample was higher than pure water it contains impurity’s?
Original post by THE-BLACK-CAT
I said you do evaporation cause even tho PH might be 7 it can still be not pure

MATHS ANSWERS WERE:

0.013 (because you had to convert Cm^3/g to dm^3/g!
50% (or 8.8% but I said it’s 4.4/8.8 x 100)
0.002 moles
15g of mass

Calculation question answers I got
Percentage one - 8.8%
Moles one - 0.002 moles
Last one - 15g

I got the same for all of them
Equilibrium shifts to the right, the side with the fewest gaseous moles
Original post by Georgiax71x
I put equilibrium shifted to the left due to equilibrium wanting to reduce change and therefore shifting to the one with most moles.

it had nothing to do with gases
I feel like I’ve messed up so bad I got phytomining and bioleaching mixed up
I said
Plants absorb copper from the soil
The plants are burnt
The metals are in the ashes
They are then extracted

Did the equilibrium shift to the right to because it had to make more product
Yes ^^ I put that too . Im pretty sure that’s the current answer as it has nothing to do will moles or pressure .it was concentration

Percentage question - 8.8%
Moles question - 0.002 (2x10^-3)
Last calculation question - 15 g

I got these!!!

Would I get marks for working out that there is 1000 cm3 in 1000dm3 and for working out individual conversions

Did anyone get 31 the 4 marker

Yes I got 31, hoping it's right since everybody seems to have got 31 in some other form like 0.031.

1dm^3 is 1000cm^3 and I’m sure you’ll get 2 marks if you didn’t/ make a conversion mistake in your answer

this paper was so good!!! I was so worried that it would be really hard as paper 1 chemistry was good too.
