how to get ethyl ethanoate fr carboxylic acid and alcohol

ethanol and ethanoic acid
the way to remember is that the ethyl part is from the alchol so ethanol
and the ethanoate bit is from the carboxylic acid so ethanoic acid

so if you had propyl methanoate
it would be propanol and methanoic acid
