how to deal with a backstabber?

I could not. For a long time.
Until I did.
A teenager here, doing the IB.
What I like to pride myself, is that I have guts and determination to handle even the worst of situations.
I never had friends in life, partly because I was told I lack social skills, and partly due to life philosophies of mine, one mostly being walking alone, as you never know when a friendship can turn into bitterness.

I was a porn addict for sometime, but I am gradually leaving the habit. I was also recently victim of a scamming incident, when I had major lapses in judgement, for which I do carry remorse to this day. And someone from the school (95%+ chance, 90%+ chance it was someone from the higher year group) decided to dig into my past, about this. That person ended up spreading the word.

I was cancelled. But I am getting back up. Those who I thought were my friends, were not. Those who I thought were just acquaintances, were actually, way more than that. They were, are, and will be, the best.

Just because I did one or two things out of line, does not define my personality. My personality is characterized by the fact that I never bring harm to anyone, and I intend the best for every single person.

I can infer you are going through something. It would make you feel better if you talk it out in person with someone. Trust me.
