Best one out of the four I did. I got:
Angle of 46.8 degrees for velocity of A.
Power roughly 390,000 W
x=ln10 for max distance travelled by P.
d roughly 4.2 metres for last question
Discuss.

I agree with all of those, did something stupid with the power one so didn’t get that right though…

****'s sake I didn't have time to do q6 and ****ed up the angle to horizontal and radial tangential force

Also maybe add the date of the exam to the title so people can find it more easily

I got the same as you for all except power. I just didn't have time to do question 6.

Also what did you get for the time for two particles and O to be in the same vertical plane?

What do you reckon the A* boundary for this is going to be? I'd say low to mid 50s

I agree - glad Further Maths is over though, 2 exams left for me lets gooo

I did that Q at the end and didn't check it, so not confident. Got like '13pi over something' though. What did you get
For power Q I got 2t = 2.77...
Then I differentiate v to get acceleration then force using f=ma.
Dot-product P=F.v to get 390kW.
Maybe my value for 2t was wrong? 🙃

I did it two ways and got two answers. First I did the higher angular velocity minus the lower one, and divided pi by that. I also wrote the two periods as 2pi/angular velocities and found the LCM of the periods . I think I got 8 seconds or so in the first method. Second one is probably wrong
