Moving back to UK to study

Hello,
We are looking at relocating back to the UK (British passport Holders and citizens) after many years living in New Zealand.
Our daughter is looking to study Law, as an undergraduate, in 2024.
We would welcome advice about fees and any student loans that would be available for her. Especially as she won’t meet the ‘3 year resident’ requirements. Obviously home student, rather than international is preferred. Is this possible?

Your daughter would not be entitled to maintenance loan and would be expected by most unis to pay international fees- I know some people have argued (and been successful) with getting home fee status due to having one parent living and working in uk and therefore paying taxes here whilst they themselves didn’t live in uk.
Honestly she’d probably be better off just waiting out the 3 years then applying that way unless you have the means to fund her!
