Resit query

Hi, I tried contacting the relevant offices at the University but getting worried. I had a module in first year I struggled with extremely which I failed followed by a failed resit in Second Year. It was difficult because the teaching was gappy as a result of strikes etc.
Because of the marking boycott I hadn’t really checked Sussex Direct after August as a result of continuously seeing half marks missing for my exams this year and hence missed the fact I had to resit the module again.
I’ve missed the deadline now and am worried I’ll have to resit the year which may not make sense as it was a first year module.
Any advice?
For the record I’ve passed all other modules so far except this one which is frustrating (two of my second year ones are unknown due to the marking boycott too, no communication there either)
