I know someone who started out doing a Hospitality degree and after their first year they decided that they wanted to be a chef, so they went down that route targeting top UK restaurants and hotels. She is so happy, and the business topics that she covered in her first and only year at uni helped her to understand the business of hospitality, as she could talk with accountants and marketing staff.
