How would I write the half equation for the reduction of sulfuric acid to hydrogen sulfide?

sulfuric acid= H2SO4
hydrogen sulfide = H2S
Reduction = gain of e-
add water to balance oxygen
oxidation state of S in H2SO4 = +6
oxidation state of S in H2S = -2
so add 8 e-
add H+ to balance H
hopefully that's right and it makes sense :smile:

I have 8e- + 8H+ + H2SO4 --> H2S + 4H2O, but I am not sure if it is right
