I personally feel there is more of a culture of personal entitlement, the importance of the self and asserting ones rights above those of others that has taken hold progressively over time.

I deal with young people literally every day and I don't really see much more variation than I did when I was their age (and younger).

The older generation don't care much for their own manners, though - I can tell yous that much.

Every generation thinks the one that proceeds them lack their values and character.
