Yes, but it is absolutely NOT just "what is not A", because it also includes the AB intersect.

Yeah I apologise. I meant what you said but I didn't say it right...sorry!
I swear I'm smart

How do yo- ohhh, yeah, public profile :P
errr wouldn't A' be A prime, rather than not A (which would be ¬A), or maybe you're using different notation

Well I prefer A bar, but A prime is pretty well accepted, and its obvious what's meant anyway. Technically best notation is A superscript c, but that's effort.

hmmm, Lincoln first year. If memory serves me correctly (which is unlikely), you should know either Haruki(maths) or Allamin(engineering)?

How can i use addition rule to find P(D'n C'), I keep getting
P(C')+P(D')-P(D'UC'). P(D'UC') is one which leaves me with a negative probability.

I just found out about a law which states that P(D' n C') = 1-P(D U C)

Magdalen 2nd year, Haruki was in the year below me at school. Ah, the joys of finding random person links on TSR, it's almost as good as finding people on TSR who you know in real life.
